Bangkok, Thailand – [March 2025] – Absolute Hotel Services Group (AHS) is proud to announce its expansion into Malaysia by signing a management agreement under the Absolute Collection with Country Heights Holdings Berhad. This marks a significant milestone for AHS as it enters a key regional market.
As part of this strategic expansion, AHS will oversee the redevelopment and relaunch of the legendary Palace of the Golden Horses in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Since its grand opening in the mid-1990s, the hotel has hosted world leaders, celebrities, and royalty. Known for its grandeur and esteemed reputation, it has been a prestigious venue for high-profile summits and events.
The Palace of the Golden Horses features:
• 470 luxurious rooms and suites
• Multiple world-class restaurants and bars
• 20 versatile meeting and banquet spaces
• State-of-the-art wellness, fitness, and medical facilities
Under this partnership, AHS will assist the owners in renovations and operations, ensuring the property is revitalised to meet contemporary luxury hospitality standards while preserving its storied heritage, which is expected to be re-launched in 2026.
Additionally, AHS is delighted to strengthen its presence in Malaysia with the recent signing of The Mines Resort & Golf Club under Absolute Golf Services (AGS) which forms an important element of the same large and diverse facility. A new property is also currently under construction, the Silver Horses Hotel, which will feature 330 rooms and is scheduled to open in 2026, to enhance the area further.
